I wonder if you're the same as I am in this respect: by the age of 5 I knew what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I knew I was a writer. My first attempt was Ten Little Kittens Bake a Cake and it took me an entire day to write that one-page wonder. Here's an excerpt:
Golly, this cake mixture is sweet "said Molly".
Yes, it is. "replied Mouser" Perhaps we put too much sugar in.
I've come a long way since then. Today I am an award-winning author but I'm still learning and battling away at my craft. I still have many more ideas for books than actual books to my name and I still need help with my grammar (thats where those amazing people called editors come in).
The interface between fiction and life is becoming increasingly porous. I thought it would be fun to create a blog, and a complementary YouTube channel, inspired by the books I write and the characters I create.
