CAFE MORO

"Mercy," he mumbled, "what the hell did you do to my French Roast?" - Patricia Briggs, Moon Called

When you grow up in South Africa you automatically ascribe greatness to the rest of the world. We must be 'less than' everywhere else. Surely. Imagine my surprise when I started trotting the globe and found that, well.. sorry about this.. Cape Town, my very own hometown, has better coffee-shops than just about any other city IN THE WORLD. Why is this important? Lawyers have courtrooms, doctors have consulting rooms, artists have studios and writers have coffee-shops. I know its a cliche but its a cliche that works for me. I spent time in one of my favourites today, Motherland Coffee in St George's Mall (CBD).
Only African coffees - superb!

Oasis in the City centre - love St George's Mall

mmmm iced espresso before meeting with publisher

check out my silk dress from Jigsaw, so glad the day was warm enough to wear it
Have a happy day.
